Before You Start

You'll need to already be a Taekwon at Job Level 40 or higher. This is the longest of the five alternate job quests — it spans four different NPCs across two towns and a hidden three-room quest map, with two real quizzes you need to answer correctly to avoid backtracking. Spend all your skill points before you start; you'll be asked for it early on.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. 1. Talk to Moohyun in Payon

    He's near (213, 100). Agree to his offer, confirm you want to become a Taekwon Master, and choose "Yes, I do." when he formally asks. He'll send you to find Moogang in Comodo.

  2. 2. Talk to Moogang in Comodo

    He's at (172, 230), shown as "Wandering Master" over his head. Spend every last skill point first — he checks. Choose "Yes, let me take the test!" and he'll ask you to gather four elemental materials:

    • Rough Wind
    • Great Nature
    • Mystic Frozen
    • Flame Heart

  3. 3. Deliver the four elements, then head to the altar

    Bring one of each back to Moogang. Once he's taken them, talk to him again and choose "Yes, I am ready." — he'll warp you straight into the Sun Room.

  4. 4. Answer Daru's questions in the Sun Room

    Answer all three correctly to move straight on to the Moon Room:

    • What do you see when you look up? — choose "The Sun."
    • What does it give you? — any of "Warmth," "Comfort," or "Light" works.
    • A riddle with a specific answer — choose the option mentioning the 4th, the desert, and sand.

    If you don't score well enough, Daru will ask you to meditate and try again — just keep talking to him until he lets you through.

  5. 5. Answer Beeryu's questions in the Moon Room

    You'll land here automatically after passing the Sun Room. Answer well enough and you'll skip straight to the Star Room:

    • Which moon? — choose "Blue Moon" or "Gold Moon."
    • What guides you? — choose "Justice" or "Self Practice."
    • A riddle with a specific answer — choose the option mentioning the 5th, the marsh, and wolves.

    If you don't score high enough, Beeryu sends you back to Moohyun in Payon to learn "the meaning of patience" instead — see the next step. If you do well enough, skip straight to Step 7.

  6. 6. If you're sent back: the patience test (only if you failed the Moon Room)

    Talk to Moohyun in Payon again, choose "About Beeryu's riddle...", then answer "I will not give up!" when he questions your resolve. Moogang in Comodo will then send you straight back to Beeryu, who'll wave you through to the Star Room.

  7. 7. Meet Cheehee in the Star Room

    Just talking to her the first time moves things along. Keep talking to her — it can take a few tries before she actually asks for your help (she's easily distracted by the stars). Once she does, she'll ask for two items:

    • Star Crumb
    • Sparkling Dust

  8. 8. Deliver the items and answer her final question

    Bring both items back to Cheehee. She'll ask one more question about the meaning of a poem — any answer you pick is fine here, so don't worry about getting it "right."

  9. 9. Return to Moogang to finish

    Head back to Moogang in Comodo. He'll walk you through what you've learned, and the job change happens at the end of the conversation.

Materials You'll Need

  • Rough Wind — a drop from monsters like Mistress.
  • Great Nature — a drop from monsters like Sleeper.
  • Mystic Frozen and Flame Heart — both drop from a variety of monsters; keep an eye out while leveling.
  • Star Crumb and Sparkling Dust — both uncommon drops; expect to spend a little time farming these two specifically.

What You Get

You'll become a Star Gladiator. No items are handed out at the end — the class change itself is the reward. Once you've graduated, Moogang in Comodo will even offer to send you back to any of the three rooms (Sun, Moon, or Star) any time you want to revisit them.

Tips

  • Answer the Sun and Moon Room questions exactly as listed above — getting them right the first time saves you a trip back to Payon for the patience test.
  • Cheehee's final question in the Star Room doesn't actually matter — pick whichever answer you like.
  • If Cheehee doesn't ask for the items right away, don't worry — just keep talking to her.
  • Star Crumb and Sparkling Dust tend to be the slowest items to gather — consider farming these before you start the rest of the quest.
