A note before you build this: Rogue's own solo-viability read is still being investigated further (see the Rogue guide). Stalker inherits that same open question — what's confirmed below (the skill tree, the new bow access, the Strip kit) is solid; treat the playstyle recommendation as a starting point, not a settled verdict.
Quick Build
- Recommended Build
- Dagger Stalker, same Back Stab/Strip core as Rogue
- Playstyle
- Positional damage plus a one-button full-strip utility kit
- Difficulty
- Same as Rogue, plus a genuinely interesting alternate bow option
- Primary Stats
- AGI, DEX, VIT, STR — unchanged from Rogue
- Primary Weapon
- Dagger (primary) or Bow (alternate, see below)
- Best For
- Rogue players who want more utility depth without abandoning the Strip identity
- Strengths: Divest All strips all four equipment slots in one skill instead of four; Preserve protects your Plagiarized skill from being overwritten by accident; genuinely gains bow-based Archer skills as a real, verified alternate weapon path.
- Weaknesses: the bow path is new and unproven here — this guide can confirm it exists in the skill tree, not that it's a stronger choice than staying dagger-focused.
What Changes From Rogue
Stalker keeps every skill Rogue has — Gank, Mug, Back Stab, all four Divest skills,
Intimidate, Plagiarism, Sword Mastery, all of it, unchanged. Rebirth adds four new skills
(ST_ prefix): Stealth, Counter Instinct, Preserve, and Divest All. It also
adds three Archer-branch skills to the tree — Vulture's Eye, Double Strafe, and
Remove Trap — giving Stalker a real, verified bow option on top of the dagger build.
New Skills
Priority
- Divest All (requires Divest Weapon 5, Divest Shield 5, Divest Armor 5, Divest Helm 5) — strips all four slots in a single cast instead of casting each Divest skill separately. A straight quality-of-life and speed upgrade to a kit Rogue already had.
- Preserve (requires Intimidate 10) — locks your currently Plagiarized skill so it can't be accidentally overwritten by copying a new one. Directly useful with the Plagiarism skill you already have from Rogue.
Situational
- Stealth (requires Hiding 5, Stalk 3) — lets you move while Hidden, an upgrade over standing still in Hiding.
- Counter Instinct (requires Divest Weapon 1) — a passive chance to counter melee attacks. Minor, not a build priority.
Verified Alternate Path — Bow
- Vulture's Eye and Double Strafe are both present in Stalker's tree, giving you the same ranged double-hit attack Hunter uses. This is a real, confirmed option here — not a rumor from a generic RO guide — but this project hasn't verified whether it out-performs the dagger/Strip build on this server. Treat it as a legitimate experiment, not a proven upgrade.
Equipment & Cards
Staying dagger-focused, your equipment and card choices from the Rogue guide carry forward unchanged. If you experiment with the bow path above, Hunter's guide has the verified bow shop/card research to draw from — it isn't repeated here since it's identical Archer-branch equipment, not something new to this class.
Final 99/70 Build
- Stats
- Same endgame spread as Rogue, refined with your 52 Rebirth bonus points toward AGI/DEX
- Weapon
- Dagger with Sword Mastery-supported off-hand, same card foundation as Rogue
- Skills
- Full Back Stab/Strip kit from Rogue, plus Divest All and Preserve
- Playstyle
- Same positional-damage-and-utility identity as Rogue, with faster stripping and safer Plagiarism use
Transcendent
This build's foundation, before Rebirth.
